Heart Function Clinic, Cardio-respiratory Integrated Specialist Services (CRISS), CDHB
Heart Function clinics are nurse-led clinics for people living with heart failure who require education on self-management, symptom recognition and heart failure medications optimised for each individual. Patients who attend these clinics are usually known to a Christchurch Hospital cardiologist. Your GP can consider referring you to the Heart Function clinic if they would like assistance with your heart failure management.

Heart Help Ernest Rutherford
An informal meeting of people affected by heart disease, have experienced or about to experience heart surgery or treatment, have recently been diagnosed with a heart condition, or are living with a heart condition, along with their families – to share the highs and lows of heart health issues. A place to receive support or provide assistance and support. This group is held every 1st Monday of the month 10.30am-11.45am. Non-residents of Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village are welcome to join the group. Phase III
